DORMITION ICON NEARING COMPLETION

The panel Icon of the Dormition of the Theotokos is nearing completion. It measures 16 x 20 inches. Work is proceding slowly on the twenty five tiny faces and assorted hands and feet.
Yet to come: lettering followed by guilding details on the robes etc.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Received twelve awards for woodcuts and drawings, among them a Lewis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant.
Lectured extensively on Iconography as well as the art of the Woodcut in the United States and Canada (1981 to present).
